JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates  must have JEE Main 2018 Eligibility Criteria to appear the JEE Main 2018 Examination. JEE Main is the national entrance level exam for admission to IITs,NIT,IIT and other government funded institutions all over India.Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) is the managing authority of JEE Main 2018 and it will be conducted by online & offline modes.CBSE has declared certain eligibility conditions for candidates who are appearing the entrance test.Here are the JEE Main Eligibility criteria like Age,Academic Education,number of attempts & other information given.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2018

Age :

Candidate must have born on or after 1, October 1993

5 years upper age relaxation in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates

Academic Education :

Candidate should have passed 12th or its equivalent with atleast 5 subjects

Candidate must have passed from the year of 2016/2017/2018.

But candidate who aspiring the IIT/NIT/IIIT admission, should have atleast  75% marks (65% for SC/ST Candidates) or be in top 20 percentile.

Number of Attempts

CBSE has declared the maximum number of attempts for JEE Main is limited to is 3 only.
